2024 POINT-IN-TIME COUNT & SURVEY JANUARY 25, 2024

The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered homeless persons on a single night in January. Continuums of Care also must conduct a count of unsheltered homeless persons every other year (odd-numbered years). Because of the TX BoS CoC’s large geography, we depend on communities to volunteer to perform a PIT Count to collect data.

The Homeless Coalition of Brazoria County meets on the 4th Monday of every month at United Way of Brazoria County and would love to have your expertise and involvement in 2024. The purpose of the Homeless Coalition of Brazoria County: Is to make communities in Brazoria County more responsive to the needs and interests of the homeless population by mobilizing all available resources to bring greater awareness to the needs of the homeless and help meet those needs.

Please join us in our monthly meetings: We need you and your officials who see homeless individuals daily in the communities that you are protecting and serving. Please hand them a bag with resources, donated clothes and/or food, and let’s work together to help them help themselves.
