Community Impact Advisory Council

The UWBC Community Impact Advisory Council (CIAC) is a team of Request for Proposal reviewers who play an integral role in deciding how donor dollars are invested in addressing the critical needs of our community. The Committee's stewardship clearly distinguishes UWBC-funded programs and reassures donors that their dollars have been invested wisely using the nonprofit industry's gold standards for Best-Investment Criteria.

Volunteer responsibilities include attending the Reviewer Portal Training (1 hr.), reviewing 6-10 community partner Requests for Proposal applications (20 hrs.+), attending one Panel Presentation day (10 hrs.), and attending the Allocation Meeting (4 hrs.). The total anticipated time commitment of a UWBC CIC volunteer is around 35 hours, which will be spread across the span of 2 months.
