This impact group offers the opportunity for young adults to get involved in their community and make positive changes to the people of Brazoria County. ELS works closely with community partners to identify opportunities for volunteering within the scope of the United Way's mission and vision along with the ELS target areas of leading, connecting, and serving.

Then the United Way of Brazoria County Emerging Leaders Society (ELS) is the place for you!
The mission of the Emerging Leaders Society is to encourage the spirit of philanthropy, leadership and community impact among young adults in Brazoria County. Members of the ELS are committed, compassionate and generous individuals who are dedicated to creating positive changes in the community in which they live and work.
Increased involvement of community engagement through ELS, working with United Way of Brazoria County;
Volunteer opportunities with community partners;
Developing service projects that will bring a positive impact to Brazoria County;
Helping advocate and educate others on community issues.
Networking with area leadership individuals and companies;
Form new partnerships and relationships through community enhancement opportunities among peers;
Opportunities to seek out community leaders for events and lead events.
