Position: Volunteer
Volunteers play a very important role and their efforts contribute highly to the overall success of our organization's mission.
Volunteers are welcomed as valuable proponents to the reduction of sudden infant deaths. We encourage and support your involvement as a Southwest SIDS Research Institute Volunteer.
Southwest SIDS Research Institute strives to meet the challenge of infant death through the fields of:
Education
Medical Care
Research
Counseling
Various volunteer opportunities are available in each field. Volunteer tasks include:
Conducting SIDS presentations
Greeting and assisting visitors of the SIDS Learning Center
Encouraging and supporting parents and families
Assisting in research studies
Providing light administrative assistance
Assisting in fundraising and other special events- SIDS GALA!
Distributing Cribs for our A.C.C.E.S.S. program to needy families
The Southwest SIDS Research Institute would like to offer you the opportunity to join us in our efforts to help those affected through SIDS and to spread SIDS awareness in the community.
